Water coolers and ice machines for offices

From a ten-person suite to a headquarters on several floors, we put purified water and ice where your team already takes its breaks, then keep it running.

Offices

An office runs on small trips to the break room. Somebody fills a bottle before the 9 a.m. stand-up, a few people want ice after lunch, and by three o'clock the hot water is running for tea and cups of instant soup. In a small suite that all happens at one counter. In a larger company it happens on every floor, plus a lobby where visitors wait and a training room that fills up twice a week.

Nearly every office on our calendar already has something plumbed in or plugged in. Often it's a cooler from a company that used to come by and now sends calls to a voicemail box, so the filter date on the side is years old. Just as often it's a unit someone picked up at a warehouse store, and no one on staff knows how to look after it. Utah's hard water has left white scale around the spout, the hot side quit last winter, and people have started bringing cases of bottled water from home.

Here's how it works with us. Our technicians are on our payroll, not a subcontractor's. If a machine stops pouring, you don't pay for the service call; we repair it or bring a replacement. We put the maintenance on our own calendar every 12 to 18 months and reach out to book it, so the office manager doesn't carry a reminder. Want proof first? Put one in your busiest break room and use it for a week at no charge. 98 out of 100 businesses that take the trial keep the machine.

What it needs to do.

  • A machine sized to the lunch rush

Break rooms get hit in waves, not evenly through the day. The right machine keeps up at 12:45, when half the floor wants ice at once.

  • Water on every floor people use

Nobody takes the elevator for a refill. A second floor or a far wing usually needs its own machine, or people quietly stop drinking water at work.

  • One person to call

Whoever runs the office has enough on their list. With us it's one local number, a real person here in Salt Lake City, and a technician who shows up.

  • Hot water too, not only cold

Tea, instant oatmeal and soup at a desk lunch all start at the cooler. Our combo units and freestanding coolers pour hot as well as cold.

We're about 15 people and one break room. Will one machine cover us?

Usually, yes. Fifteen people is right in the range a combo unit handles well, and one machine pours cold, hot and ice. If your team hits the ice hard all afternoon, or the break room also serves visitors, our rep may suggest a second cooler. That call gets made at the site visit, once we've seen the room.

Our company takes up three floors. Does every floor need its own machine?

Every floor with a break room people actually use, as a rule. A busy main floor might get a combo unit or an ice dispenser, while quieter floors do fine with a hot and cold cooler. Our rep walks each floor with you and lays out a plan, and every machine on it goes on the same maintenance schedule. Service calls on any of them cost you nothing.

All our break room has is a sink, a fridge and a microwave. Can a cooler go in?

Most likely. We need three things close to where it will stand: cold water, a drain for the reverse osmosis, and power. If there's a sink, the supply and the drain are usually right under it. Our technicians run small tubing from there and leave the room as tidy as they found it.

We still have another company's cooler in the break room. How does switching work?

Their machine goes back to them, and we time our install so the office isn't left dry in between. In most cases the new one goes on the same patch of floor the old one used. After that, the upkeep is ours: regular maintenance that we book, with fresh filters at each visit.

Should our office get pebble ice or bullet ice?

Most offices pick pebble ice. It's soft, it crunches easily, and it's the ice people end up talking about. Bullet ice is firmer and lasts a bit longer in a glass. Our combo units come in both, and the rep can show you the difference before you choose.

How would we try one before rolling it out across the office?

Start with the free week. We install one in whichever break room you pick, your team uses it like it's already theirs, and we follow up after about a week. Ask through the form and we'll reach out within 1 business day to set up the site visit.
