Commercial Water & Ice Systems in St. George

Water coolers and ice machines installed and looked after by our own technicians from our Salt Lake City shop.

Serving St. George

St. George has become a real office town. Tech Ridge, on the old airport mesa above downtown, keeps adding software and professional offices. Utah Tech University sits next to downtown, St. George Regional Hospital and the clinics around it keep a big medical community busy, and the Fort Pierce industrial park on the south end of town holds distribution, logistics and building-supply operations.

Then there's the heat. Summers here are long and hot, and cold water and ice stop being a nice extra. A crew coming in off a job site, a gym between classes, a warehouse with the roll-up doors open all afternoon: those break rooms go through a lot of ice. Offices feel it too, which is why a combo unit with pebble ice is a popular pick for a team of 10 to 20.

Want to see one in your own break room before deciding? Ask for the free week: we'll install one, and 98% of businesses that try one keep it. Questions go to a real person in Salt Lake, not a call center. Once it's in, the machine is looked after by our own technicians, who work out of our Salt Lake City shop, and if it stops working, the service call is free: we fix it or swap it.

St. George water.

The City of St. George's 2024 Water Quality Report says the city blends groundwater, from springs and wells in the Navajo Sandstone and Kayenta aquifers, with Virgin River water that the Washington County Water Conservancy District treats at its Quail Creek plant. The report says most Southern Utah water is hard, from calcium and magnesium, and suggests softener settings of 13 to 24 grains per gallon for customers who use one. Hard water is rough on ice machines, and here they work hard every summer. Reverse osmosis inside each of our machines takes out most of those minerals and the chlorine taste, and the maintenance we schedule every 12 to 18 months keeps the machine itself in shape.

Questions from St. George businesses.

Do you come out to St. George?

Yes. From the offices up on Tech Ridge to the warehouses in the Fort Pierce industrial park, St. George is part of our service area. Every machine is installed and looked after by our own technicians, not a contractor we hand you off to, and service calls are free: if one isn't working, we fix it or swap it.

Do you cover the rest of Washington County?

Yes: Washington, Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara and the rest of the county. If you're farther out than that, call and ask.

What works best for ice in the summer heat?

It depends on how many people use it and where. In an office, a combo unit on the break-room counter usually covers it. Warehouses, shops and gyms usually need a dedicated ice and water dispenser that can keep up through a hot afternoon. We size it at the free site visit, so you don't end up with a machine that's out of ice by two o'clock.

Is St. George's water hard?

Yes. The city's own water quality report says most Southern Utah water is hard and suggests softener settings of 13 to 24 grains per gallon. Hard water leaves scale in ice machines and hot tanks. Reverse osmosis strips most of those minerals out before the water reaches a glass or the ice bin, and the filters get changed at the maintenance visits we book every 12 to 18 months.
