Commercial Water & Ice Systems in Sandy

Serving Sandy

Most of Sandy's workplaces sit in a strip between I-15 and State Street. The Cairns, the city's planned downtown, runs from 9000 South to 11400 South and takes in City Hall and the Mountain America Expo Center, with the office tower at Jordan Commons right next door. South of it, the South Towne area around the 10600 South interchange mixes office suites, shops and the car dealerships lining State Street. The 9000 South corridor carries the rest of the traffic east and west, with smaller offices and shops along the way.

Head east and the mix turns medical. The clinics, specialists and dental practices around Alta View Hospital on 1300 East fill a lot of small break rooms, and so do the gyms, schools and professional offices scattered through the neighborhoods. Wherever a team works on site all day, somebody has to keep the water cold and the ice coming.

Sandy is about 15 minutes down I-15 from our shop in Salt Lake City, and the technicians who come out are our own employees. Most service calls are wrapped up the same day, and nearly all the rest the next. If your office already has a cooler that nobody looks after, try one of ours free for a week. 98% of businesses that do keep it.

Sandy water.

Sandy City's 2026 water quality report says the city's surface water comes from Little Cottonwood and Bell Canyon creeks, plus water stored in Deer Creek and Jordanelle reservoirs, treated at the Little Cottonwood and Point of the Mountain treatment plants. Sixteen city wells add groundwater, mostly in summer when demand peaks, so the blend changes through the year. Like most Wasatch Front water, it carries calcium and magnesium that leave scale on anything that heats or chills water. Every system we install runs your building's water through reverse osmosis, which takes out most of those minerals along with the chlorine taste and smell. EWG's tap water reports also flag a few contaminants in Utah water above EWG health guidelines, and reverse osmosis reduces many of those as well.

Our office is in The Cairns. How quickly can a technician get to Sandy?

Sandy is about 15 minutes from our Salt Lake City shop, so it's a short drive for our own technicians. Most service calls are completed the same day, and nearly all the rest the next day. Service calls are free: if your cooler or ice machine stops working, we fix it or swap it.

What kinds of Sandy businesses do you work with?

Offices first, from the tower at Jordan Commons to small suites along State Street and 9000 South. We also set up dealerships near South Towne, medical and dental offices around Alta View Hospital, gyms, schools and shops. Any business with people on site all day needs drinking water, and most of them want ice too.

Where does Sandy's water come from, and does it matter?

Sandy City's 2026 water quality report lists mountain creeks, two reservoirs and 16 city wells that run mostly in summer, so the water changes a bit with the seasons. Like most Wasatch Front water, it's hard enough to leave mineral scale in coolers and ice machines. Our systems purify it with reverse osmosis, and we schedule maintenance every 12 to 18 months and change the filters then.

Do you also cover Draper, South Jordan and the rest of the south valley?

Yes. We cover the whole south end of Salt Lake County, and the rest of Utah beyond it. The same people in Salt Lake answer the phone, and the same technicians do the work, wherever your office is.
