Commercial Water & Ice Systems in Kaysville

Water coolers and ice machines installed and looked after by our own technicians, about 30 minutes from our shop.

Serving Kaysville

Kaysville's oldest business district is its historic Main Street, a few blocks of storefronts around Center Street. Buildings like that suit small tenants: an accounting office, a family dental practice, an agent with half a dozen desks and a break room that doubles as storage. From there, 200 North runs five blocks west to the I-15 interchange, and along the freeway Kaysville looks like a different town.

Beside I-15, the Kaysville Business Park on Kays Drive, near the Burton Lane exit, and the industrial units off 450 North hold distribution warehouses and light manufacturing, often with a front office for a handful of staff and a floor crew behind it. Closer to downtown, Davis High School on South Main and the Davis Technical College campus on 300 South round out the map, each with staff rooms and front counters of its own.

We send our own technicians up from our Salt Lake City shop, and they are employees, not contractors picked off a list. A cooler or ice machine that stops working gets a free service call, and we either repair it or bring a replacement. If the unit in your break room came from a store, or from a company that stopped showing up, put one of ours in for a free week. 98% of the businesses that try it keep it.

Kaysville water.

Kaysville doesn't pump its own drinking water. The city buys all of it from the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District and delivers it to more than 9,000 connections. Most of Weber Basin's supply starts as Weber River water carried along the Wasatch bench by aqueduct to the district's treatment plants, topped up with groundwater from the Delta Aquifer. The district's 2025 Consumer Confidence Report says the hardness of that water ranges from 10 to 18 grains per gallon, which is firmly in hard-water territory. In a hot tank or an ice machine those minerals settle out as scale. Each system we put in sends the water through reverse osmosis first, which removes most of the hardness and the chlorine taste before anyone fills a cup.

Kaysville buys its water from Weber Basin. How hard is it, and what does that do to a cooler?

Weber Basin's 2025 report gives a range of 10 to 18 grains per gallon, so it's hard water. Left alone, those minerals build up as scale in hot tanks and on ice machine parts, and the water can taste flat. Our machines run it through reverse osmosis before it's chilled, heated or frozen, and every 12 to 18 months we come back on a visit we schedule to change the filters.

Our building in the business park has a dock crew and a small front office. Do we need two machines?

Often, yes. Five or six people in the office are well served by a bottleless cooler or a combo unit, while a crew coming in off the dock at break time usually wants a commercial ice machine of its own. Our rep walks the office and the floor on one free site visit and tells you what each space needs, including whether one machine could cover both.

We're a small practice in one of the older buildings on Main Street. Will the install work there?

Usually. What matters is a cold water line we can tee off, a drain for the reverse osmosis and an outlet near the spot you want, and a back room with a sink tends to have all three. The connection is small poly tubing, nothing gets torn out, and we clean up before we leave.

Do you also cover Layton, Fruit Heights and Farmington?

Yes. Layton to the north, Fruit Heights on the bench and Farmington to the south are all part of our regular routes, along with the rest of Davis County and the whole state of Utah. A company with a Kaysville office and a second site in one of those towns can have both looked after by the same technicians.
