Commercial Water & Ice Systems in Clearfield
Water coolers and ice machines installed and looked after by our own technicians, about 40 minutes from our shop.

Serving Clearfield
Clearfield's west side is the Freeport Center, a 680-acre spread of 78 buildings that started out in 1943 as a Navy supply depot. Most of the buildings have a rail dock on one side and a truck dock on the other, and around 70 companies run manufacturing and distribution operations inside them. Picture long concrete floors, crews loading trailers early, and a break room that a cheap countertop cooler can't keep up with.
The office side of town sits along I-15. Legend Hills, in the southeast corner of the city, is where most office and retail buildings cluster. Up State Street, past the municipal building, the Clearfield Station development is taking shape on 56 acres beside the FrontRunner stop, with offices in the plan. Hill Air Force Base runs along the eastern border, and in between are schools, shops and service businesses, starting with Clearfield High, the first high school built in north Davis County.
We drive up from our Salt Lake City shop, past Layton, to look after Clearfield. Our technicians are employees, not contractors, and service calls cost you nothing: we fix the machine or swap it. Most service calls are completed the same day, nearly all the rest the next day. If your building has a cooler that stopped getting attention years ago, put one of ours in for a free trial week.

Clearfield water.
Most of Clearfield's water is bought from the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, which treats Weber River water and supplements it with groundwater. The city tops that up with its own wells in high-use stretches, and its 2025 water quality report lists total dissolved solids of 324 to 400 ppm. Weber Basin's own 2025 report gives a range of 10 to 18 grains per gallon for hardness, firmly in hard-water territory. In a warehouse that means white crust on the cooler spout and scale building up inside the ice machine. Each machine we install purifies the incoming water with reverse osmosis on the spot, which strips out most of those minerals along with the chlorine taste. The same step cuts down many of the contaminants that EWG's tap water reports list for Utah systems at levels above EWG health guidelines.

Where does Clearfield's water come from, and is it hard?
Mostly from the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, which treats Weber River water. The city adds water from its own wells during high-use months. Weber Basin's 2025 report lists 10 to 18 grains per gallon of hardness, so yes, it's hard. Our machines run it through reverse osmosis, and we schedule maintenance every 12 to 18 months to change the filters.
Our Freeport Center building is huge. Do people really walk to one cooler?
Not if we can help it. In a long building, a crew at the far dock won't hike to the front office for water, so we often place a cooler or ice machine near each break area. Each spot needs a water line, a drain and an outlet nearby, and older depot buildings sometimes take a little planning. Our rep walks the floor with you at the free site visit.
We lease a suite in Legend Hills. Do we need the landlord's OK?
It helps to let them know. The install is small: we tee off an existing water line with narrow tubing, connect a drain and plug into an outlet, and we clean up after ourselves. Most suites with a break room sink already have what we need. Our rep can talk it through with your property manager before anything is scheduled.
Do you serve Syracuse, Clinton, Sunset and West Point too?
Yes. Clearfield's neighbors are all on our route: Sunset and Clinton to the north, Syracuse and West Point to the west, Roy just over the Weber County line, and Layton and Kaysville to the south. We cover all of Utah, so a distribution company with a second building in Salt Lake City or Ogden has one team for both.
